At Baja Serenity, you have a front-row seat to the most beautiful sunrise every morning. Dawn breaks against the eastern expanse of sky and, as the stars recede from view, pastel hues emerge along the gentle curve of the horizon. They gain in intensity until the sun itself emerges, bursting out of the vast sea. Many guests are up each morning to enjoy this moment—no two are exactly the same. And our observation deck provides a similar lovely view of each evening’s setting of the sun over the mountain range to our west. Some record the passage of their stay with us by taking a photo of every sunrise and every sunset. They then view the photos as a montage once back home. Often our workaday lives don’t allow for a daily witnessing of the sun’s rise and set, but at Baja Serenity, it becomes a highlight in and of itself.
